Neerja

In this poignant tale, two young Korean girls, Jung-Min and Young-hee, are abducted by the Japanese Imperial Army and forced into a harrowing existence at a ‘Comfort Station’ in China, where they, along with other captured girls, are compelled to serve as sexual slaves known as ‘Comfort Women.’ Years later, the story takes a turn as an elderly woman seeks to reconnect with the spirit of her long-lost friend, driven by a narrative rooted in the real-life experiences of Kang Il-chul.
