Partisan

In a secluded commune on the outskirts of a decaying city, 11-year-old Alexander lives with his mother, other children, and their compelling leader, Gregori. Gregori imparts practical skills to the children, teaching them how to tend to animals, cultivate gardens, work together harmoniously, and more unsettlingly, how to kill. As Alexander grapples with the arrival of a newborn brother, he starts to doubt Gregori’s dominant influence and the children’s assassin training. Gregori, once fond of Alexander, sees this newfound defiance as a threat and reacts erratically, causing friction between them. Their escalating conflict threatens the commune’s fragile existence, leading its residents to fear an impending violent showdown.
