Patterns of Evidence: Exodus

A heated discussion surrounds the authenticity of the Bible’s narratives. Presently, the majority of archaeologists agree that there is no evidence supporting the historical occurrence of the Israelite exodus from Egypt. Confronted with a potential crisis in his beliefs, filmmaker Timothy Mahoney asks himself, “Could this pivotal biblical event actually be a myth?” This question propels him into a 12-year global quest for answers. The film, Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus, delves into the enigma of this age-old story, skillfully blending scientific inquiry with a reimagining of the exodus to uncover a remarkable pattern of evidence that aligns with biblical records and could alter our historical perspective. It boasts captivating animations, narration by Kevin Sorbo (known for God’s Not Dead, Hercules: The Legendary Journey), and insightful interviews with renowned archaeologists like Israel Finkelstein, Kent Weeks, and David Rohl, featuring appearances by prominent figures such as Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu and Shimon Peres.
