Peter’s Friends

As the New Year rolls in, Peter’s friends reunite at his newly inherited countryside home. A decade ago, these individuals were part of a comedic troupe at Cambridge University, but now it’s unclear how much they still share in common. Among the group is Andrew, who has become a Hollywood writer; married jingle composers Roger and Mary; the stylish costume creator Sarah; and Maggie, the quirky publisher. Unexpected contrasts arise when they are joined by Andrew’s wife Carol, a well-known American TV star, and Sarah’s new boisterous lover, Brian. Vera, Peter’s critical housekeeper, and her son Paul, are also present, while Peter’s father makes a brief appearance in the gathering. Watch “Peter’s Friends (1992)” here online now!
