Pete’s Dragon

For years, the elderly wood carver Mr. Meacham has captivated local children with his stories about a fearsome dragon that inhabits the dense woods of the Pacific Northwest. His daughter, Grace, a forest ranger, dismisses these tales as mere legends until she encounters Pete, a mysterious 10-year-old boy. Pete, without family or home, insists he lives with a gigantic, green dragon named Elliott, who sounds strikingly similar to the dragon from her father’s stories. Alongside Natalie, an 11-year-old girl whose father, Jack, runs the nearby lumber mill, Grace embarks on a journey to uncover Pete’s origins and the reality of this mythical creature.
