Pieces of Easter

Alza Bennett is determined to reunite with her estranged family for the Easter holiday, but her plans go awry when a car accident leaves her over 700 miles away from her destination. Stranded, she finds herself at the doorstep of Lincoln, a solitary farmer who cherishes his solitude. Though reluctant, he agrees to accompany her on a tumultuous three-day journey across America’s highways. The unlikely duo finds themselves in a series of comic misadventures, including stays in rat-infested hotels, unexpected store hold-ups, run-ins with eccentric rabbit hunters, and encounters with a starry-eyed couple from a nearby trailer park. As they travel together, their clashing worlds lead to unexpected moments of understanding and humor in this modern twist on The Prodigal Son. Pieces of Easter offers a humorous perspective on reconciliation and the search for belonging. Watch this film now on cineby and 123Movies.
