Pygmalion

In the 1938 classic “Pygmalion,” linguistics expert Professor Henry Higgins makes a daring wager with Colonel George Pickering. He confidently asserts that with just six months’ training, he can transform Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl, into a proper princess. Following an agreement between Higgins and Eliza’s father, Alfred, Eliza embarks on this demanding journey by moving into the professor’s home. As she undergoes this intense transformation, it’s clear that Higgins himself is also faced with changes of a different kind.
