Rear Window

Renowned photographer L.B. ‘Jeff’ Jeffries finds himself stuck in his New York apartment after injuring his leg while capturing a thrilling moment at an auto race. To pass the time, he observes his neighbors through the rear window, which soon leads him to suspect foul play when he believes a man across the courtyard might have killed his wife.
