Red Devil

“Red Devil (2019),” directed by Savvas D. Michael, is a compelling narrative interweaving the themes of sex, drugs, and the inevitable downfall they bring. The lives of its characters intersect and collide due to their shared dependence on the highly addictive drug known as Red Devil, which has taken the streets by storm. The film opens with an eerie anonymous voice declaring, “Once you’ve tasted the devil’s cum, everything else is dull and numb.” This statement paints a vivid picture of the lengths addicts will go to obtain the drug, especially when its supply suddenly vanishes, igniting a desperate and deadly frenzy.
