Red Riding: In the Year of Our Lord 1974

In Yorkshire, the year is 1974, and the atmosphere is thick with fear, skepticism, and rampant police corruption. Eddie Dunford, a novice journalist, embarks on a relentless pursuit of truth amidst a tangled web of lies and deceit that envelops the police’s handling of a string of child kidnappings. The disappearance of young Clare Kemplay drives Eddie and his colleague, Barry, to persuade their editor to explore possible connections with two similar kidnappings from the past decade. When the mutilated remains of a child surface at a construction site owned by a powerful property mogul, Eddie and Barry find themselves ensnared in a perilous labyrinth of secrecy, intimidation, shocking discoveries, and police violence.
