Running Time

Running Time (1997) is a film that captures the essence of real-time storytelling, set in black and white, unfolding in what seems to be one seamless take, much like Hitchcock’s iconic “Rope,” but with the added dynamic of being shot on location. The story follows Carl, a former inmate, who after ten long years behind bars, crafts a meticulous plan to rob the prison laundry system where he toiled for years. Upon his release, he reconnects with a high school friend who has orchestrated the details of the heist and even arranged some questionable company for Carl’s first taste of freedom. With their crew assembled, including a safecracker and a getaway driver, they have only twenty minutes to execute their perfect plan, yet chaos ensues threatening Carl’s carefully laid-out scheme. However, a romantic twist might be waiting in the wings for him. Start streaming Running Time (1997) right here; watch it online for free on cineby or 123Movies.
