Salsa

By day, Rico, a young man from the Puerto Rican barrio, toils as a car mechanic. However, his true passion comes alive at night when he dances tirelessly and dates the most exciting dance partners. Convinced he will be crowned the Salsa King at La Luna’s upcoming contest, he is brimming with confidence. Rico persuades his gentlemanly best friend, Ken, to date his sister Margarita, hoping this will allow him more freedom to pursue the vivacious Lola. However, Luna, the reigning salsa queen, sets her sights on Rico as a potential dance partner, which complicates his unpredictable romance with Vicki. Further complications arise when Ken and Margarita genuinely fall in love, creating a complex web of relationships. “Salsa (1988)” is now available to stream, allowing viewers to watch online for free via cineby.
