Saltwater

In this heartfelt American indie drama, we follow a group of lovable characters on their journey to discover joy, tranquility, and ultimately love. The story centers on Will, portrayed by Ronnie Kerr (known for “Vampire Boys 2” and “Shut Up and Kiss Me”), who has recently left the Navy and is adjusting to civilian life while reconnecting with old friends. His pal Rich, played by Bruce L Hart, tries to match him with the dashing Josh, brought to life by Ian Roberts—an Australian former rugby player, actor, and model seen in “Cedar Boys,” “Superman Returns,” and “Little Fish.” Although Will and Josh share an undeniable chemistry, their timing and ideals rarely align perfectly. A sudden, tragic event brings the two closer, forcing them to confront and process the fallout together. “Saltwater” expertly weaves a tale of men of various ages, exploring love, enduring losses, and realizing that life’s journey holds more value than simply reaching the destination.
