Sanctum

In the breathtaking 3-D action-thriller “Sanctum,” produced by the legendary James Cameron, a group of expert underwater cave divers embarks on a perilous adventure into the world’s most stunning and remote cave system. Their mission becomes a matter of life and death when a powerful tropical storm pushes them deeper into the caverns, forcing them to battle against relentless water, hazardous terrain, and escalating fear as they desperately search for a yet-to-be-discovered exit to the ocean. The seasoned diver, Frank McGuire, portrayed by Richard Roxburgh, has spent months exploring the Esa-ala Caves of the South Pacific. However, when a sudden flood blocks their path out, Frank’s team, which includes his teenage son Josh (Rhys Wakefield) and investor Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd), must drastically change their approach. As resources run low, they navigate the complex underwater maze in hopes of finding a way to safety. Ultimately, they are faced with a harrowing dilemma: Will they manage to escape, or remain trapped indefinitely?
