Santa Con

In “Santa Con” (2014), Nick DeMarco, a minor league con artist, finds himself compelled by his parole officer to don the red suit and beard of a department store Santa during the festive season. This proves to be a role he loathes, but circumstances take a twist when, towards the conclusion of his inaugural shift, he rashly assures a young boy named Billy that Santa will reunite his fractured family by Christmas. As Nick endeavors to fulfill this promise, he encounters Billy’s mother, Carol, which leads him to ponder whether he should set aside his own desires for the sake of others’ happiness.
