Satin

Jack Satin, a down-and-out lounge singer from Vegas portrayed by Hamilton von Watts, finds himself broke and without prospects, clinging to dreams of fame. Forced to abandon Las Vegas, he embarks on a journey to Atlantic City in his vintage Cadillac, which breaks down in the isolated desert town of Lost Springs. Here, Jack encounters Doc Bishop, a former jazz great turned mechanic, played by Robert Guillaume, who aids him in repairing his car. Though distant from the spotlight, Jack starts to feel at ease in the quaint town. A chance meeting with bar owner Lauren Wells, brought to life by Melissa Joan Hart, sparks a realization in Jack that there’s more to life than fame and wealth. Doc inspires Jack to embrace his musical passion, while Lauren offers him the audience he’s yearned for. As Jack discovers the warmth and opportunities of Lost Springs, he’s reminded that life offers unexpected twists, especially when his past from Vegas makes an unexpected reappearance—creating a comedic intersection in his life journey.
