Akagi

Akagi, originally a Japanese manga by Nobuyuki Fukumoto, immerses you in the enthralling world of mahjong. First serialized in 1992 in Modern Mahjong magazine, it serves as a precursor to the author’s prior story, Ten, featuring the same main character. The manga’s widespread appeal led to its adaptation into two live-action films and a compelling 26-episode anime series that captivated Japanese audiences in the fall of 2005. Akagi is a must-watch.
