Australia’s Next Top Model

Australia’s Next Top Model is a reality TV series from Australia, adapted from the franchise pioneered by Tyra Banks with America’s Next Top Model. It is created by Granada Productions and shown on FOX8, an Australian subscription channel. The show aims to discover a talented yet untapped Australian model and provide her with a significant opportunity to succeed in the fashion world.

The last host was Sarah Murdoch, an esteemed Australian model who also acted as the lead judge and co-executive producer during cycles five to seven. Previous hosts included Jodhi Meares and Erika Heynatz. An eighth cycle was set for production and aired in 2013, but the producers originally needed a new host before filming could continue.

In April 2012, it was announced that the series would pause for that year because finding a successor for Sarah Murdoch had been challenging. However, on 19 November 2012, Jennifer Hawkins, a beauty queen, model, and TV personality, was announced as the new host for the eighth cycle. Watch Australia’s Next Top Model now.
