Cow and Chicken

Cow and Chicken is a humorous American animated television series designed by David Feiss for Cartoon Network. The show chronicles the quirky and surreal escapades of a cow named Cow and her chicken sibling, Chicken. Together, they frequently find themselves at odds with “The Red Guy,” a character who mischievously dons various disguises to deceive them. As the series progressed, the recurring segment featuring characters I.M. Weasel and I.R. Baboon, known as I Am Weasel, was spun off into its own dedicated show.

In the spirit of other 1990s Cartoon Network hits like Dexter’s Laboratory, the original pilot premiered as part of the What a Cartoon! anthology, an initiative spearheaded by then Hanna-Barbera president Fred Seibert. The series aired on Cartoon Network from July 15, 1997, to July 24, 1999, followed by frequent reruns until April 2006.
