Gintama

In a world where extraterrestrial creatures known as the Amanto have invaded Earth and taken control of feudal Japan, the samurai class finds itself marginalized due to a ban on swords. Yet, Gintoki Sakata defies this status quo, embodying the essence of the samurai, even if his affinity for sweets and occupation as a jack-of-all-trades might suggest otherwise. Alongside him are his companions: Shinpachi Shimura, a bespectacled young man with a resolute spirit; Kagura, armed with an umbrella and an insatiable appetite; and their colossal pet dog, Sadaharu. Their diverse assignments often lead them into conflict with the authorities, rebellious factions, and assassins, resulting in comedic yet challenging situations.
