Huntik: Secrets & Seekers

“Huntik: Secrets & Seekers” is an animated series that blends Italian flair and American storytelling, launched in 2009 by creator and director Iginio Straffi. The show is a collaboration between Big Bocca Productions, led by Richard McWilliam, CEO of Upper Deck, and Rainbow S.p.A., and serves as a spin-off to the beloved Winx Club series. Crafted with Italian design and animation prowess while scriptwriting and original voice recording were handled in the US, this series made its debut on The CW4Kids, airing Saturdays at 11:30 am EST. European audiences enjoyed the series on Disney XD and CITV, while Indian viewers caught the first season on Disney XD in 2010. Originally premiering on January 3, 2009, the series had only one episode aired in the US, whereas the first four episodes launched in Europe, with Jetix as the main hub for post-first-episode premieres. Although it was initially indicated in a magazine alongside the new Winx Club season that Huntik’s second season would broadcast in the US in the fall of 2012, it actually commenced in the spring of the same year in the UK on CITV and in Australia on channel eleven. Anime Works released the first season on DVD in 2010. Watch Huntik: Secrets & Seekers online now.
