JAG

JAG is a renowned American legal drama series with a strong military backdrop, brought to life by Donald P. Bellisario and produced by Belisarius Productions alongside Paramount Network Television. Initially described as a blend of Top Gun and A Few Good Men, the pilot episode made its debut on NBC on September 23, 1995. Despite an eventual cancellation on May 22, 1996, NBC left one episode unaired, but CBS significantly revived the series as a midseason replacement starting on January 3, 1997. This strategic move by CBS was successful, leading JAG to rise in the ratings and continue for nine more seasons. The series was so influential that it led to the creation of the popular spin-off, NCIS, which subsequently spawned another hit, NCIS: Los Angeles. Throughout its impressive run, JAG produced a total of 227 episodes across 10 seasons, gaining widespread popularity and being broadcast in over 100 countries by its fifth season. It was so beloved that it swiftly entered syndication in 1999 and continues to be a staple on television. Tune in to JAG online.
