Macken

Macken is a classic Swedish six-part musical sitcom that aired on SVT in 1986. Created by the talented group Galenskaparna och After Shave, this show marked a significant milestone in their career. The catchy songs from Macken gained immense popularity, even making it to the Svensktoppen charts. In 1990, the success of the series led to the creation of a film adaptation. “Macken” translates to “the mack,” which is Swedish slang for a gas station, fitting given the quirky setting where much of the action takes place.
