Nathan For You

In the quirky series “Nathan For You (2013),” Nathan Fielder, a self-described business guru, combines his skills as a writer, director, and comedian to guide small businesses toward success using unconventional marketing strategies. He employs methods that most traditional consultants wouldn’t even dream of attempting. By devising bold promotional tactics, such as attracting visitors to a souvenir shop with the help of a Johnny Depp lookalike or creating a rebate offer that involves a mountain hike, Nathan consistently pushes the envelope. His ventures also include setting up the amusingly named coffee shop, “Dumb Starbucks.” Although his unique problem-solving techniques are designed to benefit the businesses, Nathan often pulls unsuspecting participants into scenarios that far exceed their expectations.
