Pulling is a comedic series from the BBC, focusing on the lives of three single friends living in Penge, south-east London. Crafted by talented writers Sharon Horgan and Dennis Kelly, the show stars Sharon Horgan, Tanya Franks, Rebekah Staton, and Cavan Clerkin, bringing the vibrant characters of Donna, Karen, Louise, and Karl to life. Pulling holds the distinction of being the final comedy project developed by Harry Thompson before his passing. The initial six episodes premiered on BBC Three in 2006 and were later re-aired on BBC Two in 2008. A second season of six episodes followed on BBC Three in 2008, culminating in a final one-hour episode in 2009. Down under, ABC2 showcased the first two series back-to-back in 2009, though the final episode remains unaired. The show found recognition with a BAFTA nomination for Best Situation Comedy in 2007, and Sharon Horgan secured a British Comedy Award in 2008.
