The Bureau

Inside the DGSE, known as the General Directorate for External Security, lies the Office Of Legends (BDL), a critical department managing the key operatives of French intelligence: the clandestine agents. These operatives are deployed on covert missions in foreign territories with the goal of identifying potential informants. Assuming fictional identities, they spend years living double lives. The story follows one agent’s recent return after spending six years undercover in Damascus. He defies the organization’s regulations by clinging to his fabricated identity from Syria, risking the security of the entire network. The Bureau (2015) explores this intense world.
