The Good Guys

Back in the 1970s, Dan Stark and his colleague Frank Savage were acclaimed detectives in Dallas, celebrated as national heroes for their daring rescue of the Governor’s son. Fast forward thirty years, and Dan Stark is now a has-been detective, often found reminiscing about his glory years or drowning in alcohol. Assigned to him is Jack Bailey, a meticulous and ambitious detective whose sarcastic nature often backfires, trapping him in a dead-end role handling petty thefts while managing Dan, who is notorious for not being able to maintain partners.
