Transporter: The Series is a thrilling action-adventure TV series produced in English, emerging from the popular Transporter film franchise crafted by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. This show is a collaborative effort by French Atlantique Productions and Canadian boutique firm QVF Inc., produced along with broadcast collaborators such as M6, RTL, The Movie Network, Movie Central, and HBO/Cinemax. The storyline picks up from the film trilogy, showcasing the relentless escapades of Frank Martin, an unyielding freelance courier driver willing to transport anything, anywhere, with no questions asked, as long as the price is right. Frank, who religiously follows three “unbreakable” rules, often finds himself bending them. In the series, Chris Vance steps into the shoes of Frank, succeeding Jason Statham, with Andrea Osvárt joining him as a former CIA agent and romantic interest, who coordinates his missions. François Berléand, the lone cast member from the films, reprises his Inspector Tarconi role.

In 2012, twelve episodes were slated with a hefty $40,000,000 budget, equivalent to €30,000,000. The series made its debut in Germany on October 11, and later in France on December 6 via RTL and M6, respectively. Canadian audiences joined the thrilling journey on January 4, 2013, via HBO Canada and Super Écran 1, followed by its debut in India on January 25, 2013, through the Sony PIX channel.
