Shrek the Musical

Shrek The Musical is a stage production featuring original music by Jeanine Tesori and a script by David Lindsay-Abaire. Drawing inspiration from DreamWorks Animation’s beloved 2001 film Shrek and William Steig’s 1990 book Shrek!, this musical captured audiences’ hearts and was nominated for eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical. After its run on national tours and London’s West End, Amazon announced that a recorded version of the show would be made available on September 17, 2013, for instant viewing. This performance was crafted by combining various live recordings and one without an audience, boasting performances from the original cast alongside other talented alumni from its Broadway tenure. Notably, it includes the song “Donkey Pot Pie,” rather than its replacement “Forever”. Shrek the Musical (2013) is ready for you to enjoy.
