Son of Sardaar

Jassi Randhawa, portrayed by Ajay Devgan, is a seemingly aimless man whose life takes a turn when he receives a notification from the Punjab government about purchasing his property in Punjab. With the intention to finalize the sale, Jassi heads to Punjab. During his journey by train, he crosses paths with Sukhmeet, played by Sonakshi Sinha, and the two quickly fall for each other. Upon arriving in Punjab, Jassi inadvertently encounters Billu, a character brought to life by Sanjay Dutt. Mistaking Jassi for a newcomer, Billu hospitably invites him to stay at his home, treating him with utmost respect. It is only then that Jassi discovers Billu is actually Sukhmeet’s brother. The narrative unfolds with Billu revealed to be Balwinder Singh and Jassi as Jaswinder. An age-old Punjabi tradition prevents Billu’s family from harming a guest in their house, leading Billu to bide his time until Jassi steps outside to confront him. Realizing the predicament he’s in, Jassi devises a comedic plan to thwart Billu’s mischievous intentions.
