South of Sanity

On Britain’s largest Antarctic base, a group of fourteen individuals is left to endure the harsh winter, but they unexpectedly lose all communication nearly six months in. A rescue team sent to aid them finds no one alive. Isolated from the world, this small community begins to crumble as antagonism grows. Amidst this brewing discontent, a menacing figure emerges, targeting the group one by one. As paranoia spreads, safety becomes a scarce commodity. Filmed and edited entirely in Antarctica, “South of Sanity (2012)” explores the sinister potential that lurks within the human psyche in even the world’s most unforgiving environment.
