Spiderwebhouse

In “Spiderwebhouse,” twelve-year-old Jonas finds himself thrust into the role of the caregiver for his younger siblings when their mother leaves to “battle her demons.” Faced with dwindling supplies, the children create an imaginative escape within their own home, captured hauntingly in black-and-white. Their residence transforms into a fantastical realm inhabited by bugs and shrouded in mysticism as they cultivate saucepan gardens and adopt insects as companions while spiderwebs slowly take over. Jonas gains a glimmer of hope for navigating the adult world through his unexpected friendship with an unusual young homeless man. Watch “Spiderwebhouse” online.
