Step Sisters

Jamilah seems to have everything under control. She’s in charge of her black sorority, leads a top-notch step team, acts as the student liaison to the college dean, and is set on attending Harvard Law School next. Everything seems perfect, right? However, when the party-loving white girls from Sigma Beta Beta shame the school, Jamilah is tasked with saving the day. Her challenge is to teach these rhythmically-deficient girls to step dance and secure a win at the Steptacular, the pinnacle of dance battles. With the SBBs’ reputation and their charter on the line, alongside Jamilah’s Harvard dreams, the mismatched group and their improbable mentor stumble through a series of comedic blunders. Cultures collide, love is in the air, and sisterhood comes out on top as everyone moves beyond their comfort zones. “Step Sisters” is a film that you can stream online here.
