Stockholm

Drawing from a remarkable true tale, “Stockholm (2018)” dives into the infamous 1973 bank robbery and hostage situation in a European city. Captivating the global audience, the story unfolds when the captives unexpectedly develop a connection with their captors, eventually opposing the authorities. This led to the coining of the term “Stockholm Syndrome,” as documented in Daniel Lang’s 1974 article “The Bank Drama” in The New Yorker. Watch Stockholm (2018) online.
