Stranger Than Paradise

Willie, a Hungarian expatriate adrift in America, along with his buddy Eddie and his young cousin Eva, consistently find themselves in mundane circumstances as they wander through the uninspiring settings of New York City, Cleveland, and a nameless suburb in Florida. They live life on the fringe. This is perfectly captured in “Stranger Than Paradise (1984),” a must-watch film that’s easily accessible online.
