Sucker

After failing his high school exams due to cheating, Chinese-Australian teenager Lawrence sees his ambitions of becoming a doctor crumble, resulting in a summer exile to the countryside. During this unexpected detour, he crosses paths with the clever Professor, a seasoned con artist, and his skeptical daughter Sarah. Together, they teach him a valuable lesson: even the cleverest deceptions can’t manufacture genuine affection. Is this storyline based on true events? That might just be one of Leung’s clever ruses.
