Taiyô

Set in the dawn of the 21st century, the tale unfolds against the backdrop of a world ravaged by bioterrorism, leaving a drastically reduced population. Humanity is now divided into two distinct groups: the Nokusu, who endured the virus but emerged stronger with antibodies, are predominantly young, wise, and vibrant, but are vulnerable to ultraviolet light, making them night dwellers. On the other side are the Kyurio, who dodged the virus entirely. However, the Nokusu look down upon the Kyurio, creating a stark social divide. Among the Kyurio is Tetsuhiko Okudera, hailing from an impoverished village, longing to be among the Nokusu. His bonded friend from childhood, Yui Ikuta, dedicates herself to rejuvenating their struggling community. Taiyô (2016) is waiting for you online.
