Terror Trap

On their way to a weekend escape, a couple named Don and Nancy (portrayed by David James Elliott and Heather Marsden) experience a car mishap that leaves them stranded in a rural area of Louisiana. As luck would have it, they encounter the unfriendly Sheriff Taylor (Jeff Fahey), who informs them that their car won’t be repaired until the next day. He suggests they spend the night at a nearby motel run by Carter (Michael Madsen). Once they check into this shabby, dilapidated motel, they remain unaware of the establishment’s sinister treatment of outsiders. Despite his badge, the Sheriff is complicit with Carter and a group of masked criminals who kidnap, torture, and kill innocent victims. Realization dawns too late for Don and Nancy, forcing them into a desperate struggle to survive the night and avoid becoming the latest casualties of the Terror Trap.
