The Apparition

A group of four mercenaries, led by the enigmatic Baron, disguise themselves as Secret Service personnel to take control of the home belonging to war widow Ellen. Her residence provides a strategic vantage point for their nefarious plot to assassinate the President during his visit to the quaint town of Suddenly. The impostors succeed in deceiving the local law enforcement, with the exception of Todd, a faded war hero-turned-deputy who’s now battling alcoholism and harbors affection for Ellen, the wife of his fallen comrade. Despite his feelings being unreciprocated, Todd senses something is amiss when he visits the house and grows suspicious of Baron, although his concerns are dismissed due to his reputation. Eventually, Todd uncovers the sinister scheme, eliminating one of Baron’s henchmen, but subsequently, he is taken captive. Together with Ellen, he must devise a strategy to thwart Baron’s deadly agenda and save the President. “The Apparition (2013)” is now available for streaming online.
