In “The Bag Girls” (2020), Deandrea Smith, the 27-year-old wife of successful businessman Walter Smith, is pushed to her limits by his deceitful actions, leaving her penniless and thirsty for vengeance. She turns to her closest confidant, Nola, who works as an exotic dancer, and together they enlist Crystal, a devout single mother, and Daisy, a tough streetwise woman, to help them plot a heist to steal $50,000 from Walter. After their first success, the team sets their sights on more ambitious targets, devising a plan to rob the strip club where Nola is employed, adopting the moniker “The Bag Girls.” As their reputation grows, they are commissioned for a dangerous gig involving the Cuban mafia, an assignment that proves to be far beyond their capabilities.
