The Bandit

The remarkable journey of the famed Baran the Bandit unfolds as he emerges from a long stint in incarceration. Having spent 35 years behind bars, Baran is thrown into a world that has drastically transformed, with the shock of finding his old village submerged beneath a new dam being particularly poignant. As he sets out to Istanbul, his mission focuses on exacting revenge on his former ally, who betrayed him by reporting him to the authorities and taking his beloved Keje. During his quest, Baran collaborates with Cumali, a spirited young rebel who views the bandit’s traditional methods as oddly charming. When Cumali incurs the wrath of a crime lord, Baran is compelled to expand his list of scores to settle. Watch The Bandit (1996) online for free.
