The Big Tease

Believing he’s set to compete in Los Angeles’ prestigious Platinum Scissors contest, Scottish hairstylist Crawford, played by Craig Ferguson, departs Glasgow accompanied by a film crew to document his journey. Upon arrival, he realizes he’s only there to watch the spectacle, not participate, pushing him to find a way to steal the spotlight and join the competition. His main rival is the unpleasant Norwegian stylist, Stig, who stands as unyielding as his preferred styling products. The film also features humorous cameo appearances from Drew Carey and others, adding to the comedic value of this inventive mockumentary. The Big Tease (1999) is streaming now.
