The Cat That Looked at a King

This captivating short film masterfully blends live-action with animation, reminiscent of the enchanting chalk drawings from the classic “Mary Poppins” film. Crafted especially for the 40th Anniversary Special Edition DVD in December 2004, it invites viewers to join Julie Andrews and two children as they magically enter an animated world. Their adventure unfolds in a whimsical tale inspired by a chapter from the original “Mary Poppins” book series. The Cat That Looked at a King (2004) is a delightfully charming watch.
