The Emperor’s New Clothes

Exiled to a remote island, Napoleon hatches an audacious plan to reclaim his empire by exchanging identities with a lookalike, Eugene Lenormand. The scheme involves Napoleon sneaking into Paris and Lenormand revealing the truth, but complications arise. The journey is tougher than anticipated, and Lenormand finds himself too enamored with the luxuries of high society to follow through on the original plan. As a consequence, Napoleon awkwardly settles into the role of a commoner, waiting for the ruse to unfold while Lenormand enjoys the indulgences.
