The Hedgehog

Paloma, an unusually thoughtful and articulate 11-year-old overwhelmed by boredom, plans to end her life on her upcoming 12th birthday. With a keen interest in art and philosophy, she scrutinizes and records the happenings of her world, offering sharp and amusing insights into her surroundings. However, as her self-imposed ultimatum nears, she encounters a kindred connection with her building’s irritable janitor and a mysterious, sophisticated neighbor, both of whom prompt her to reevaluate her rather bleak perspective on life.
