The Honour of the House

The film “The Honour of the House” (1999) explores themes of family dynamics and societal expectations, presenting the tale of two sisters caught in a web of deceit. The elder sister, self-centered and duplicitous, manipulates her altruistic younger sibling to preserve their family’s prestigious status by concealing a scandalous pregnancy. Or at least, that’s the narrative spun, as beneath the surface lies a complex story of both sisters having been involved with the same man. Stream now.
