The Mirror

The belief that mirrors serve as portals to alternate dimensions is widespread. Many think these reflective surfaces harbor a realm teeming with malevolent spirits. This superstition forms the foundation of ancient folklore about hauntings and possessions. A story of a haunted mirror gained media attention in 2012 when both the Daily Mail and Huffington Post covered it, describing how new owners of an antique mirror experienced consistent bad luck, financial ruin, strange apparitions, and critical illnesses. Writer/director Edward Boase adapts this chilling narrative for the big screen in “The Mirror (2015),” featuring Jemma Dallender, Joshua Dickinson, and Nate Fallows as roommates who unwittingly buy the same cursed mirror on eBay. They install round-the-clock cameras, hoping to catch paranormal activity on film. Don’t miss this!
