The Outback

In “The Outback” (2012), Johnny, a white koala mocked for his unique color, becomes part of a traveling carnival alongside Hamish, a spirited Tasmanian devil, and Higgens, a photographer monkey acting as their talent scout. As the troupe journeys through Australia’s vast outback, their trailer unexpectedly detaches and crashes, leading Johnny into an adventure he didn’t foresee. To prove himself, he must embrace the hero persona crafted by Hamish, while working with outback residents to save a fellow koala captured by Bog—a menacing crocodile—and his gang of dingo accomplices.
