The Photographer of Mauthausen

Francesc Boix, a Spanish photographer incarcerated in the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp, finds himself working within the SS Photographic Service. From 1943 to 1945, he takes on the risky mission of concealing thousands of negatives with assistance from fellow prisoners, aiming to reveal to the liberated world the horrific acts executed by the Nazis, meticulously captured in photographs. He later serves as a crucial witness at the Nuremberg Trials. The Photographer of Mauthausen (2018) is available to stream right here.
