The Purgation

From a young age, Iris aspired to be a filmmaker, but for the past five years, she has found herself stuck directing reality TV shows that struggle to hold their own against competitors like Ghost Hunters. When she receives an opportunity to prove her worth, she heads back to her hometown of Black Falls, a quaint town overshadowed by an eerie abandoned insane asylum notorious for its history of severe shock treatments. As Iris starts shooting within the asylum, she is flooded with memories of her childhood escapades where she and her friends sneaked in to create amateur horror films. Unbeknownst to Iris, her reality is about to eerily mirror the fiction she once crafted. Experience “The Purgation (2015)” right here on this site.
